Define both hearing and listening in your own words. In doing so, be sure to describe the difference between hearing and listening (at least one paragraph).

We discussed six different factors during class that can sometimes make listening difficult. Provide (a) a description of each factor and (b) an example of each factor.

Review the factors you identified for Question #2. Based on your own experiences, do any of these factors tend to affect your ability to listen more often than the rest? (a) Identify a factor that often impedes your ability to listen, (b) describe a specific instance in which this occurred, and (c) provide three specific steps that you can take to overcome this factor in the future. (at least two paragraphs).
