University of Utah Structural View of Organizational Identification Reflection
Question Description
Students will write a very short reflection paper based on the reading for one week. This paper should be at least 2 pages, double-spaced. It should include the following: (a) your general feelings about the articles (e.g., ones you found especially interesting or ones that you disliked); (b) any key questions or observations you might have about a reading or the ideas discussed in the readings (e.g., the basic assumptions underlying an article or the implications of a study’s findings); and (c) two or three research questions/ideas based on the readings for that week. These questions should not just repeat the directions for research provided at the end of the articles; instead, they should address potential avenues for research that you have identified based on these readings. Your research ideas do not even need to be too closely tied to a particular article or articles. For instance, your reading about a certain theory may lead you to think about how this theory might be applied in a completely different context.
