University at Albany SUNY Diamond Braces Customer Care Letter Scenario
Description
I have submitted the document for the interview questions with all the detials.
I would also like for you to edit the letter below and make it sound professional, persuasive and informational. The letter must help bring a resolution to the situation. Basically here is a breakdown of the situation: a loan was taken out from a dentist after being persuaded and told there was absolutely no interest fees which wasn’t 100% the truth. There were hidden rules and that was not told on the day of the offer. Interest fees are against the religion of the person who took out the loan and that was made very clear prior to taking out the loan. The person reached out to the loan company to waive or drop the loans but the loan company has refused. The last step is now seeking help from the dentist. This letter must be extremely helpful so the dentist in no way shape can deny helping the person who they persuaded to take out this loan. Majority of the details are in the letter:
Hello Diamond Braces,
My name is Sarah Coley and I am a patient at Diamond Braces. I have recently completed my Invisalign treatment two weeks ago. I started my Invisalign journey less than two years ago and it has been rough. When I first came in for my consultation I was super excited to get Invisalign and was then told that I must get a loan if I was unable to afford the entire payment. I made it very clear that I’m against loans due to interest charges but was told immediately that there was absolutely no interest. I am a Muslim and interest is haram (forbidden) under all circumstances and must be avoided. I agreed to accept the loan offer if it was 100% loan free which was told to me by the employee at diamond braces. I was truly unaware about all of the hidden rules which have effected me terribly these past months. I paid diamond braces $2,000 directly through orthobanc monthly and have also completed my entire payment with the loan company diamond braces offered me which was $2,500. There is still a balance of $417.48 which are all interest fees. I have contacted this loan company numerous amounts of times explaining to them that I only agreed to this because I was told it was interest free but somehow there were rules I was totally unaware of. I truly never signed up for Invisalign to ruin my credit or have collections get involved. I have paid off the original payment that was told to me at my consultation which was $4,500. I was truly convinced and excited but now this has just been a disaster for me. I’d like to know if in anyway I can receive help from diamond braces with this loan company to waive it drop these interest fees.
