Purpose: Thisassignment is aligned with learning objectives #2 and #6. By reflectingon your own privilege, you will be able to more effectively apply themultidimensional perspective to others’ behavior, both in this courseand in the social work profession. In addition, this assignment providesan opportunity to practice using CPR and APA.

- Analyze how privilege affects your life
- Analyze how privilege affects how you perceive and/or treat others
Knowledge: This assignment will improve your knowledge of privilege, which is critical to successfully serving social work clients.
Task: To complete this assignment, you should answer the following questions:
- Define privilege
- Cite relevant literature for the definition
- In what ways do you have privilege?
- Be sure to consider race, ethnicity, gender, age, sex, sexual orientation, ability, body size, and social class.
- What conclusions can you draw about how your privileges affect your life on a daily basis?
- What evidence can you find for these conclusions? Be specific.
- How is your privilege related to how you perceive others?
- What evidence can you find for these conclusions? Be specific.
- How is your privilege related to how you treat others?
- What evidence can you find for these conclusions? Be specific.
Logistics:
- Make sure to include a title page and references page (in APA format)
- You should include an APA formatted abstract (no longer than 150 words)
- Your paper should be between 2 1/2-3 pages (not including the title page, abstract, and references page)
- Minimum of one reference required
- You must use APA format
- All paragraphs except the introduction and conclusion should be in CPR format
