A résumé is an important tool for the job search. As you review the provided presentation, begin to consider: what qualities make a résumé effective and stand out for the correct reasons, and which qualities might make a résumé stand out for the wrong reasons? You will want to use your thinking to inform the résumé and cover letter you create later in this module.

After looking at the example résumés that have been provided this week, select one of the hypothetical job postings that relates closest to your program or field to apply for. Write your own résumé tailored as best as you can to the specific posting as a Microsoft Word document. It should not be more than 2 pages. This is a first draft and will be revised later in the course.
